What Data We Collect From You
Your privacy is important to Social Empresa and we will only collect, record, hold, store and use your personal information as outlined below. We do not take your trust for granted.
Personal information includes any type of information recorded electronically or otherwise relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. We may store your personal data when you use our products or services or interact with us. Depending on the service you use and your interactions with us, the data we collect will vary. When allowed and if you opt not to provide such data, this may prevent us from providing you with corresponding products or services, or may mean that we cannot assist with or resolve any issues you have raised.
We will only collect information if it is relevant to the services provided to you. We will only keep your information for as long as we are either required to by law or as is relevant for the purposes for which it was collected.
Understand What Personal Data We May Collect & How
We collect your personal data directly from you.
Quote requests. When you submit a quote request through this website, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number, the message you write, and the list of products and quantities you have added to your quote list. We use these to prepare a quotation and to contact you about it.
Enquiries. When you use the contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address and your message, so that we can reply to you. You may also give us a phone number, which is optional.
Technical information sent with a form. When you submit either form, we also record the IP address the submission came from. It is sent to HubSpot with the rest of the submission and is used to tell genuine enquiries apart from automated ones and to understand where enquiries come from. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Direct contact. If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email or social media, we hold the contact details you reach us with and a record of the enquiry.
Project and installation details. Where a quotation progresses to a project, we may collect further information necessary to carry out the work, such as a site address, a contact on site, technical details of the installation and the equipment involved.
Warranty and after-sales. To handle a warranty claim we may collect proof of purchase, equipment model and description, a fault report, the date of purchase or activation, and a serial or model number.
This website does not process payments and does not collect card or bank details. Where a quotation becomes an order, invoicing and payment happen outside this website, directly between us and your company.
Third-Party Services
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
Form submissions from this website are processed by HubSpot, our customer relationship management provider, so that your enquiry reaches the right person. HubSpot has its own privacy policy governing the information we pass to it, and we recommend you read it.
Certain providers may be located in or have facilities located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. If you proceed with an interaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction or jurisdictions in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website's Terms and Conditions.
When Do We Collect Information?
We collect information from you when you enter it into a form on this website, or when you contact us directly.
When using any of our related products or services, we may also collect and summarise statistics, such as website visits and usage volume, to understand how our products and services are used. For the purposes of this Policy, the aforementioned statistics shall be referred to as non-personal data. We will try our best to separate your personal data from non-personal data and use them separately. However, when personal data is mixed with non-personal data it will still be treated as personal data.
Use of Personal Data Collected
We use your personal data to respond to your enquiries, to prepare and follow up quotations, to carry out and support work we have been engaged to do, and for matters related to our communications with you. Furthermore, we use it to send updates and information regarding our services, for the purpose of audits and to comply with regulatory obligations or industry codes.
Disclosure of Personal Information
We will not share your information with any other organisations other than our corporate group and those third parties directly related to and necessary for the functionality of our services for which you have authorised. In exceptional circumstances, we may be required to disclose personal information, such as when there are grounds to believe that the disclosure is necessary to prevent a threat to life or health or required by the law.
